Meet Kevin Winters, New Real Estate Listing Agent for Mission Bay

Mission Bay is excited to announce the addition of Kevin Winters to our Team.  Kevin is the NEW Real Estate Listing Agent and brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. He has been a long term resident of the Lake and has 30+ years experience in the Real Estate Industry.

The Lake West Chamber Presents the 13th Annual Lake West Business Expo!

The Lake West Chamber presents the 13th Annual Lake West Business Expo, Saturday, March 1, 2014 hosted at the Lake West Christian Academy building on Hwy 5 in Sunrise Beach from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.  

The Westside of the Lake grows larger every year.  New residents and business are settling on the "quiet side"  for family, business, pleasure and so much more.   The best way to learn about the growing Westside and all that it has to offer is to attend the Lake West Chamber Business Expo.  This product and service show has over 60 businesses that will be on display.  There will be a great variety of businesses like home products for exterior and interior, landscaping, fencing, boating, camping, docks, real estate, insurance, banking, lodging, and much more.

Take the Plunge for Special Olympics with the 2014 Polar Plunge

It's almost time to take the plunge in the Lake of the Ozarks Waters for the 2014 Lake of the Ozarks Polar Plunge!! This fun event is taking place February 22nd at the Lake of the Ozarks Public Beach #2 to benefit the Special Olympics!

The Polar Plunge is a CRAZY event where each participant collects donations and pledges as they commit to plunge into the icy waters of Lake of the Ozarks. Participants and teams come dressed to impress with wacky costumes or themes to entertain viewers and are encouraged by event organizers.  The event has brought more than 600 plungers and raised more than $200,000 in past years.

Not up for the chilly dive?  You can still participate by by donating online, supporting a plunger financially or coming out to cheer them on as they brave the cold!! 

Here is the schedule of Events for the Day:

• Registration - 12:00pm-2:00pm
• Parade Lineup for Judging - 1:50pm
• Parade of Costumes - 2:00 pm
• Announcements & Plungers' Oath - 2:15pm
• Polar Plunge Begins 2:30 pm

The 5th Annual Silver Cup Chef's Challenge

The Silver Cup Chef's Challenge will have round 2 this weekend at Seven Springs Winery in Linn Creek!  This charity has been a great success with some great local restaurants competing to take the title as the Silver Cup Winner! 

The first week of competition featured the category of Chicken/Southern Style. Ruthie D's, Roca's on the Square, Willowes and Hideout delivered delicious entrees but ultimately Ruthie D's was chosen as the winner!

FEBRUARY 1ST:  PORK – SOUTHWESTERN FLAIR

• Half Sauced

Seating is limited with only 100 reservations available on a first come first serve basis.  Be sure to call ahead to reserve your tickets now at 573-552-7513.  Tickets are $25/person for each week or $100/person for all 4 weeks!

Casa de Loco Winery - located at 442 Riverbird Ln in Camdenton - off of Lake Road 54-85.  The breathtaking view from a bluff top overlooking the Big Niangua River and original stone staircase to the water make this the perfect spot to come for a few hours, spend the day, or even a few! Come visit us at the “house of the crazy” for one unforgettable experience!
2. Golden Rock Winery - located at 955 N. Bus. Hwy 5 in Camdenton. The place to come and Un-Wine-d in the heart of Lake of the Ozarks! This winery offers complimentary wine tastings daily with weekday lunch and dinner specials. The casual atmosphere paired with wines made from the finest grapes sourced from vineyards around the world make this stop a must!!
   
3. Seven Springs Winery - located at 846 Winery Hills Estates in Linn Creek.  The Winery and Vineyard sits atop 160 acres of rolling Missouri foothills between Camdenton and Osage Beach, less than a 10 minute drive from either location. The covered porch and patio area are ideal for enjoying a glass of wine and admiring the beautiful views.  You can also enjoy live music every Saturday and Sunday. Come for the wine – stay for the atmosphere - remember the view! 
4. Shawnee Bluff Vineyards - located at 8 Tollwood Road, Eldon - off Hwy 54 between Lake Ozark and Eldon. Follow the billboards & look for the world's largest wine bottle by the entrance, just minutes from LakeOzark. The vineyard has a restored banquet room that is spacious and versatile for any event. The venue has high ceilings with a rustic feeling and wine barrels to enhance the ambiance. Tours will be provided.

Shawnee Bluff Winery - located at 2430 Bagenll Dam Blvd. in Lake Ozark. Shawnee Bluff Winery offers wine by the bottle, glass and tastings in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views of the Lake of the Ozarks. Situated atop the bluff with a 14 mile panoramic view of Lake of the Ozarks it is truly a picturesque setting.
6. Sugarloaf Vineyard - located at 66 Feline Lane in Camdenton, off of Hwy 54. The Vineyard is an outdoor venue with wine tasting, music, BBQ, Pizza, Cheeses. With 7 types of wine and draft beer, you can eat and drink in the outdoor tasting pavilion or enjoy at our waterfront picnic grounds and watch the boating activity on the Lake of the Ozarks.
