One of the Lake area’s most popular events is taking place
in just a few short weeks! Yes, you guessed it! The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout! There are
many events that will be taking place leading up to the actual races on August
26th and 27th. With all of these different events
occurring, it’s hard to keep track of them. The best luxury waterfront homes at the Lake
of the Ozarks has listed some of the important information and schedule
details so you don’t miss out on any of the fun!

HISTORY
The
Lake Rescue Shootout started in 1988 as an event in which many local boats
participated simply to establish who had the fastest boat. As the years went by
it became a bigger and bigger event that also helped supplement the Lake Area
Fire Departments water rescue efforts.
ABOUT
Lake
of the Ozarks Shootout that is being held at Captain Ron’s Bar & Grill and
the 33MM-34.5MM, August 23rd – August 27th, 2017 will bring the top racers and
off shore racing power boats from across the country, topping 244 MPH. The
largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest with over 100 racers and 100,000
spectators. Proceeds will benefit the Lake Area Rescue Teams, and other
charitable organizations!
